Ah, gotta love the projection. Someone who appears to have an IQ below 50 using ad hominem. The leg break affected all fights afterwards, genius. And TDD is greatly affected by reflexes, speed and power that you admit get worse with age. Also, there's zero evidence that Silva's TDD has improved with age. You're either trolling or have some serious mental holes. Get off Sherdog and go somewhere to boost your critical thinking skills.

Maybe? he's probably a bad matchup. Adesanya has only been dedicated to MMA a couple years though. In a year or two he might have the TDD to get the job done, it's already improving pretty fast. He wouldn't need long to make Chael fold.

We're talking prime Chael who was never KO'd/TKO'd before the Silva rematch. He stood with prime Anderson, Nate Marquardt, Bisping and others and no one KO'd him. In more recent years he stood with Rampage and Wand and beat both. Adesanya has a completely unproven TDD/ground game. The smart money is on Chael and his very good chin surviving the little time they spend on their feet.

It does affect the fighter, when did I say it didn't? Are you fucking deluded or just so brain dead that you misinterpreted what I'm saying? Speed and reflexes do help your tdd but what helps the most is techniques, and silva was never an explosive fighter. That's why he's fighters like Travis Lutter was able to take Silva down and mounted him. Why is it so hard for you understand that fighters can be improved? "there's zero evidence that Silva's TDD has improved with age" actually there is, and that evidence is by watching the Brunson fight. His technique and especially balance has improved a lot, unless you're blind or lack of common sense then you could clearly see the improvement of silva tdd

I'll never understand why people think Sonnen was such a great fighter.Laughable. He took the blue print from Travis Lutter and smothered Anderson for 4+ rounds and lacked the heart to get out of a half ass sub to become champ. That s his claim to fame.

For many fights- when the tough got going so did Chael (as in going) lol

chael has minus 6 ground and pound power so no he wouldn't. He literally pounded on Silva for 24 minutes and didn't leave a mark.

Demolishing him, not just beating him. It would be a wipe out.

We want to see Israel vs. a grappler to see how it goes. Chael would have been a very tough test. He did fairly well at MW in the UFC, I'd say. He's probably underrated bc of his mouth and the number of his losses. But he wasn't an easy fight (unless you are Demian Maia).

Brunson isn't even a better Derek Brunson than Chael is.

Before this fight Adesanya was a world beater. He fights Anderson in a close striking battle and all of a sudden every wrestler would beat him, even though he just disposed of a wrestler in timely fashion pre Anderson.
What from this fight which has zero grappling indicated to you the kid would lose to Sonnen?

Nah Chael would have let Adesanya win. He realizes the necessity of passing the torch.
