Thats MMA math at its absolute worst. Maybe Adesanya would have landed something flashy in the first 30 seconds. Maybe his footwork is actually better vs wrestlers and chael couldn't get him down. Maybe he didnt overly worry about the take downs and his chin wasnt wide open. Maybe Adesanya packs more power when he lands? Pure speculation from both of you guys to look at a juiced up grappler fighting a different man almost a decade ago....to watching the striker vs striker years later. It doesnt even correlate. IMO chael walking into something crazy and getting KTFO is just as likely as him winning a UD...we simply dont know
If you want something to take away from the fight how about the fact that it seems like he lacks true power and will have trouble with strikers in his division who arent over the age of 40.
