Khamzat has beaten absolutely nobody, particularly at middleweight to make such a wild baseless assumption.

Ikram Aliskerov, GM3 and Leech aren’t nobodies. The fact Khamzat made them look like ones, tells you all you need to know about his level.

He’s also a stylistic nightmare matchup for Anderson. Anderson had poor TDD and Khamzat would smesh him all day

They are GOATs because they have the most accomplishments, it doesn’t mean they are unbeatable. Aldo is the FW GOAT, but he loses to Max, Volk and Conor all day.

Anderson looked incredible in a far worse MW division than today. I wouldn’t favour him over Izzy, Rob or Khamzat.

I wouldn’t favour Jon to beat Jiri or Ankalaev.

The HW GOAT Fedor would get flatlined by Ngannou and styled on by Gane.

Khabib beats anyone at LW though.

I didn’t say anything about anyone being unbeatable. I said I’d take Silva to win—in other words, I would pick him or favor him—over any MW I’ve ever seen in MMA. Seems logical to me. And that made you salty because in your world guys in their prime in 2021 are just automatically better than those dinosaurs of the past who fought in these allegedly way worse divisions, because “MMA evolution” or something. And while the sport has certainly evolved, think of good fighters like Rob Font and Pedro Munhoz— those guys didn’t even fight the prime versions of Aldo and Cruz. They couldn’t even beat the old, injury-ridden, shopworn versions. And don’t even get me started on the current HW division.

There’s no point in me commenting on all those fantasy matches you listed, but let’s take someone we both like: Khamzat. He’s one of the best prospects I’ve ever seen, and I’m really excited to see what his ceiling is. *Could* he beat prime Silva? Sure, this is MMA, and we don’t really know how high Khamzat could go. But I sure as hell wouldn’t favor him to win, because he’s never fought or beaten a single Top 10 guy. I’m also a big Jiri fan. But if someone put a gun to my head and made me bet my life savings on him vs 2011 version of Jones, I’m betting on Jones.
