Prime Anderson is a myth based on PED's and fighting smaller weaker competition like Franklin and others. His best win is over a stupid Hendo who chose to kick box with him.

If Randleman hit Silva with the same shot Anderson's head would have came off. He couldnt handle being punched in the face by Weidman whose punching power is no where heavyweight level.

Crocop would low kick old chicken legs once and Anderson's leg would explode into 1000 pieces. His chicken bones couldnt handle getting checked by Weidman. How do you expect his little legs to handle being kicked by the hardest kicker in the history of the sport?

1) If you don't think Cro Cop was on PEDs, then you're delusional. 2) Anderson's chin had already deteriorated by the time he fought Weidman. That wasn't his prime. 3) Anderson took hard shots from Dan Henderson and managed to survive, but that was in his prime. 4) Cro Cop's resume is full of cans (with good fighters sprinkled in here and there), and those are the primary victims of his LHK. 5) Prime Anderson is a bit different than Alberto Del Rio in a mask.

Yes and in Pride where everyone was free to juice and did juice Anderson was a joke who lost to "CANS"...you dont get it because you started watching MMA at UFC 195. Takase and Chonan are D-level level fighters. Think Anderson could beat Josh Barnett? Barnett would kill him. Think he could beat Alex Emelianenko who not only had 50 lbs on Silva but had faster hands? LMAO.

I'm a Silva fan but Crocrop in his prime destroys him standing unless Silva grew hair and dyed it blonde ala McDonald and Randleman then he would win.

1) Yes, in Pride, where the fights were often fixed and the stars were fed a steady diet of cans. 2) Yes, Anderson lost to two cans before he went into his prime. Correct. 3) When I started watching is irrelevant, but no, it certainly wasn't 195. What matters is how much I've watched. 4) Josh Barnett is a stylistic nightmare for Anderson, so probably not. Then again, he did manage to hang in there for all three rounds against a much better fighter in Daniel Cormier. But a hearty 'lol' at the thought of Alexander E. giving prime Anderson problems. 5) You're mad right now.

I know he was. Everyone in Pride was. Hell they were encouraged to juice for entertainment. And Anderson had his chance in a platform where everyone was on the same shit and even and he sucked.

He got to the UFC where you have to have a team of people and doctors around you based on how to beat tests and cycle and risk ruining your career vs fighters who chose not to take the risk and surprise he becomes a legend in the weakest division in the sport.

If Anderson was 27 yrs old today in today's 185 lb division he wouldnt be top 5. He'd be an above average fighter who gets ragdolled by the stronger guys fighting today. Compare Weidman, Rockhold, Jacare, and Romero to Franklin, Maia, Leites, Cote, and Lutter.
