Anderson’s weakness was his wrestling. Lutter, Sonnen, and Henderson were all able to take him down and keep him down.

I could see Yoel taking Anderson down and brutally ground n’ pound him for a victory.

Yoel has a style that would end Silva fast. Yoel would have Chael Sonnened him without an extra 4 rounds. He would need 1 bein Chael wobbled him with a straight right. Yoel by 1st round TKO

Prime Anderson via KO (knees). Romero is a killer, but he's been KO'd by knees and punches before from someone with a solid Muay Thai base.

Romero has been outworked and arguably beaten by someone with worse striking defense than Anderson, so it's hard to see Romero landing anything crazy against Anderson. Anderson was also harder than hell to keep down and Romero is a ninja in a scramble, but not so much at smothering top control like Sonnen.

That being said, Romero has savage KO power and ridiculous timing.

If anyone could read and counter Romero's flying knee and superman punches, it's Anderson. I'd say early Anderson (Leben/Franklin fights) or "Matrix" Anderson (Forrest, Chael rematch, Belfort, etc.) wins. If Anderson played around (Maia, Leites fights), he could certainly lose, but he didn't do that against dangerous opponents.

If Romero followed a Chael-like strategy (first Chael-Andy fight), he could win. But I don't know if he has the cardio for that. Plus Yoel is like Hendo...he can't stick to his wrestling for long...he likes to fight on his feet.

Silvas defense on the ground is insane.

Silva KOs a gassed Romero in the 2nd or 3rd.

Yoel is a better wrestler than Chael but he does not have super t level Chael's cardio.
