You're right, of course. But this is an MMA forum and the maxim doesn't hold up in that sport. Hence some of the predictions.

Some of these posters know enough about boxing. Statement is general because it happens with every big rematch. Fury-wilder was a big one. Even with the unprofessionalism of fury and all the chances he handed to wilder, he still ruined him. Some fans will go through all sorts of mental gymnastics to rationalize the loss and won't hear anything else and they know enough. It's blind bias, which has always been around.
 
Fair play. And I'm glad Usyk did it conclusively and not via points and stealing rounds.

Moz what did you think of tonight's fight? A small heavyweight coming from cruiser and dominating at 38?
 
Well... TS is kinda right... I mean Usyk will go to sleep at some point tonight.... as will most humans... I presume on a luxurious King Size Matress at some fancy hotel.

Devastating, crushing loss for Dubois.
 
Dubois has always been a flawed fighter but he had been terrorizing the division over the last couple years. That said, I only ever gave him a puncher's chance against Usyk. The only factors that made this fight interesting was the age difference (11 years) and Dubois supposedly improving while Usyk has been slowly declining. At least now I don't have to hear the "controversy" BS anymore (first fight) or Don Charles' bitter ass running his mouth nonstop.

Exactly. This guy is a can that should be ashamed of himself. I'm glad that he lost his money betting against that "tip tapper" Usyk.
