Corruption ffs. These fuckers have no shame

🤖 < rather trust that guy than any UEFA officials.

Have to say though that I kinda fancy me the new format. 8 games, only once against another team. Definitely makes it more interesting, especially having in mind how dull the group stages mostly were the last couple of years. Let's see...

Big up @FadeLess 🐲

One of the more overrated managers of recent times. Not bad, but nowhere near elite.

Dining out on the Valencia run and fluking a CL for 20 years.

I think it's only Liverpool fans who overrate him (Champions League, Super Cup, FA Cup). Most people know the football he plays is awful to watch.

Newcastle fans like him, but I think that's more down to the fact he came in after a horrendous run of managers in Pardew, Carver, and McClaren

Honestly, outside of the truly elite managers like Klopp, Pep, Carlo etc I think the role of the manager is massively overblown, and even for those elite managers luck and circumstance is a big part of it. Like if Klopp wasn't able to finance Allison and van Dijk with the Coutinho robbery, would they have pushed on? Hell, Klopp even pushed for Julian Brandt and Julian Draxler over Salah at the time.

More and more it's apparent the single most important factor in success is recruitment, imo. The manager might add or take away about 10%.
