I’m starting to feel the same way about Rashford, too. Garnacho is too young to have the typical United-level expectations on his shoulders, but right now United are looking at about an 8th place finish at best. The standards he has to meet from Rashford are not running straight into defenders, helping on defense, completing basic passes, and not missing one v ones every game. If United aren’t going to upgrade, maybe give him a go and let him build some experience.
