I know it sounds crazy, but I still think Fred can be a decent squad player if he wasn’t paired with McTominay.

Fred off the bench on 60mins would genuinely be a welcome addition for even City or Liverpool. Energy, commitment, workrate, passion. Any of those teams would take him....

They just wouldn't take him for 50m and have him as a 100% starter.

West Ham with 15% possession

I think USA showed 1 or 2 matches this weekend. Everything else on Peacock. Crooks
Yeah they’re never getting a penny from me just out of principle. I just stream everything that isn’t on USA anymore, but that definitely means i don’t watch as much as i used to. Greedy fucks.

Its a shame I’m missing out on quality content like this as well, but I’ll soldier on

I heard MLS is on Apple TV now. If true, that can’t be good for viewership.

Better second half and honestly should’ve gotten at least a point but Rashfood was dogshit in front of goal

I don’t know if I’ve ever hated a player (who actually plays regular minutes) more than Mctominay. Hope he gets a weber c fracture diving in late for a tackle for the 1000th time so I don’t have to see him jogging back after losing the ball for the 1000th time

My expectations are already low so I’m not surprised at all, just tired of seeing the same shitty players and barely doing anything to change that despite having the funds to do it. Doesn’t matter who the manager is some players will just not improve. It’s the textbook definition of insanity

It’s actually shocking how little shit McT gets. Heard people compare him to likes of Fletcher and Butt. Laughable, he’s not even Darren Gibson.

Most failures at United can go to a place like Villa or Palace and become a mainstay, and I guess that’s where guys like Maguire and Rashford are. McT ain’t even that.

Guy has to be by the worst player in modern United history with more than 100 (he’s closer to 200) games played.

I thought about it. If things stay the way they are, I’d give it another year minimum.
what do you mean?
I am not in touch with the actual fanbase/european sentiments/prospective buyers.
As an American I just see the Glazers getting hated on publiucly by protesters and then see that other pro clubs from various sports are getting sold for waaaay more than ManU is currently worth in public stock, despite seemingly being one of the top 25 most famous franchises in all of sport.

They've given ETH Fred/McTominay as the starting midfield pairing again, despite them failing 2-3 previous managers. He's been hung out to dry already mate. This isn't kneejerk - this is the same team we've seen for 3 seasons, failing every single time. Nothing has changed. The style of football looked no different either. Absolutely dreading this season, its gonna be worse than last season because I at least had 'some' optimism this time, unlike last season. I can see a huge run of losses after the first few games are done, we've got a savage fixture list.

You were really more optimistic this season than the start of last?

Thought we were being overhyped last season but still expected top 4.

This season I’m not expecting top 6.

I doubt they sell this year, and if they finish the window without significant upgrades and/or Ronaldo leaves, things will get even worse on and likely off the field (ie, stock price drops even more).

Idk how it works with MLS but they put MLB games on there too, and you can’t even watch them on your local station, only way is if you have it. Imagine not being able to watch a game at a bar or tv and being forced to watch it on some tablet or phone lmao. It’s just silly and I actually have apple tv (6 month free trial on my PS5)

Yeah, I was.

2nd was a huge fluke, so going into last season I thought maybe top 4 at worst. Signing Ronaldo made me more optimistic because I thought he'll easily score 20, meaning that might fluke us more wins and we might finish higher than expected.

This season, I was like "much better manager on paper, and he'll be heavily backed so maybe top 3". Until about a week or so ago. Now, that's become top 8 at best. One game, no - it's not one game. It's seeing the exact same shite in one game that we've seen for years. Nothing has changed. And there's no signs they are gonna give ETH the money needed. Our squad is way worse now than last season, now I think of it.

Poor Man United lads in here... fuckin rough. Gotta eat a bag of dicks straight away and seems it was ludicrous to watch... I'd rather have Utd in the Top 4 than "some" other teams.
