<41> dates do get muddled, but wasn't 2014 a year you finished some posts with ''COYS'' ?

I was an Arsenal fan up until January of that season, where we needed a striker and were top of the league at xmas, then Wenker went and signed Kim Kallstrom.. who had a BROKEN BACK ffs!!

@Rawex dis u?

all the comments are liek kick the baby, it's demented and fucked up

lmfao

I hope they win it next year too, if we aren't on it.

Of the top 6 think I'd go:

United > Arsenal > Spurs > Chelsea > City > Pool

Not sure I'd be able to take the smugness of Arsenal fans / blokey if Arse/Spurs won it though.

A team that hasn't won a trophy in 5 years isn't a big club to me.

what do you count as a trophy though?

I count the PL and CL as trophies

everything else is just fodder

Always thought the Juventus v Milan dynamic was really interesting.

I think most would assume that Milan were Italy's most successful club, but in terms of league titles Juve are way ahead. Then in terms of the European cup Juve have perhaps underachieved more than any other club, whereas Milan have excelled in it.

Quite hard to decide which is Serie A's traditional big club.

The last 10 years have really been an anomaly. The Messi-Ronaldo era have really skewed the lines. When those two have gone, presumably the other clubs will catch up, pretty quickly.
Real Madrid have and always be the #1 club to play for imo, Juve is an odd one, 9 finals and never scored a winning goal from open play.

I just want the PL

Don't even care about the CL. Fuck Europe lol

'I almost s*** myself!': Pique reveals the moment Keane gave him a thunderous telling off after his phone rang inside Manchester United's dressing room

Gerard Pique has revealed how earning the wrath of Roy Keane gave him an early insight into life at Manchester United. Pique, who arrived at Old Trafford as a youngster from Barcelona, was preparing for a match in the dressing when his mobile phone began to ring. Keane, who memorably lost his temper when he was Ipswich boss after a reporter's phone went off in a press conference, did not take kindly to the interruption and let Pique know his feelings.

'So we're sitting there waiting for the gaffer (Sir Alex Ferguson) to come in and speak to us, and I'm literally sitting right next to Roy Keane. The dressing room is so small that our legs are almost touching. There's no space at all.

'It's dead quiet. All of a sudden, you could hear this little vibration. Very soft. Roy is looking around the room.

'I realise it's me. It's my cell phone. I left it on vibrate, and it's in the pocket of my pants, stuffed in the clothes bag that's hanging right behind Roy's head.

'Roy can't find where the noise is coming from. Now he's looking around the room like a maniac.

'His eyes are darting everywhere, and he's trying to figure it out. You know the famous scene with Jack Nicholson in The Shining, when he bursts through the door? That's what he looked like.

'He screams out to everybody, 'Whose phone is that?!'. Silence. He asks again. Silence. He asks a third time. 'Whose. Bloody. F*****g. Phone. Is. That?!'

'Finally, I spoke up, like a little boy. Very softly, I said, 'I'm so sorry. It's mine.'

'Roy lost his mind! He went nuts in front of everybody! It was incredible. I almost s**t myself. But it was a good lesson.

'Now, in 2018, everything is different. All these kids are on their iPhones before the matches. But back then, in 2006? It was a different world. You didn't do that. Especially not at United. Not in Roy's dressing room. It was one of a thousand mistakes that I made when I was at United.'

So currently Wigan are a big club, as they are 5th of the last 5 FA Cup winner, until this years final of course.

When you go to work smashed from the night before and they call an unexpected early morning meeting

domestic cups should count. not as big as league and CL but a solid third. It's not a big trophy but not a small one. Medium trophy I guess. Depends on country too as it seems the FA Cup isn't taken as seriously as the Copa Del Rey in Spain.

It's still a trophy and you'd be crazy to not want to win it as opposed to actually winning it, all things being equal.
