My best mates a die hard Villa fan and absolutely loves Smith, won't hear a bad word against him. No idea why. Probably loyalty for promotion.

But he's a fucking shit manager. Leicester could be in major trouble here.

Same mate HATED the Emery appointment despite me saying he's clearly, by a country mile, the best manager Villa have EVER had. He loves him now. Course he does.

So many shit teams in the league this year. Still genuinely like 8 teams that could go down, and none of them are unlucky to be there.

As much of a prat as Rogers was, he was still a half decent manager, imo. After their ludicrous Prem win, Rogers came in and got Leicester back to back 5ths and an FA Cup (cunt hair from 4th both times).....then a couple of years ago, when they really could of pushed on, they seemingly decided to fuck it off, and barely spent anything, whilst selling key players. Hard not to struggle.

They always had a great scouting system and were a happy content "farmer club". They'd bring in a fantastic prospect, give him a platform, sell for big money and replace adequately. Rinse and repeat.

That seems to have dried up. Fofana was an unreal Maguire replacement but his replacement, Faes, looks shite really.

The luck seems to have run out in that regard.

For example when they sell Maddison this summer I have no faith he's replaced well. Ndidi seemed to be the new Kante. Nobody wants to sign him anymore.

They've actually got quite a few players who could well go to top 10 clubs if they go down....Ndidi, Tielemans, Maddison, Daka, Justin, Barnes, Castagne etc, but most of them have massively under-performed this year.
