Pretty annoying to get such a tough match so early in the season......and pretty tough start in general.

Think we'll do okay this season (4th - 8th), but still expect us to need 10-15 games to really gel, especially up top. Seems Amorim likes either Ugarte/Mainoo or Bruno/Casemiro as his CM 2, so interested to see if he throws all 3 of Seko, Cunha and Mbeumo in from the start, or plays Bruno up top.

Optimistic 1-1.

United midfield going to look like Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta today.

Kinda ironic Wissa has done basically the same as Isak to try and force his move to Newcastle.

Obviously with football fans being so rational and impartial, Newcastle fans will have to accept he's a 🇫🇷🇨🇩🐀, right?

He did chuck a hissy fit at first but went back to training with the first team and was obviously left out today because the deal has been almost done for a while.

It was always about waiting for this deal to go through first before Brentford would let him go.

I mean, it's kind of similar but not really. Isak is just flat-out refusing to train with the team or play.

Forest 3 - 0 up against the Bees at half time. Okay.

City also marked their territory yesterday, and I'm not going to pretend I'm not shook by Sunderland's result.

Newcastle 0 - 0 away is ok. Chelsea will score in the second half. The big question is, will Man U live up to all the 'Back' hype? I'd prefer to be wrong, but I don't think they will.

Not really having a go at Newcastle, and Isak has gone about things terribly no doubt, still it shows how fickle and bias we all are.

Hell, United are basically doing a reverse-Isak with Hojlund (after already ostracising a number of players), yet no one's gonna trash the club for a lack of loyalty to the players. One-way street

Seems likes of Baleba and Eze are the ones doing things the right way.

One thing I've always wondered. How come Liverpool got Alexis Mac Allister out of Brighton so cheap? Some kinda unreported buy out clause? Aren't they not valid in the Prem? And if he had one, why doesn't everyone else cover themselves the same way?

If I'm a young player with big potential and get a move to anyone but Real Madrid, I'd be covering myself. Don't want to do a Kane.
