Futbol Premier League 2025/26 Thread - v1 - And it’s Live! 🏆 ⚽️

Rogers joining Newcastle (where he is behind Joelinton and Tonali in pecking order)? Or i am thinking of someone else? @Arqueto

Risky yeah but i am thinking he starts season as first choice forward. Palmer, Estevao, Neto and Gittens feeding him. Whats his pricetag, if its 9m or less feels like must have pick.

Fair point but like with Joao Pedro, might get them cheap. Atlest Sesko might be really cheap coming over from Europe.

Morgan Rogers is not leaving…..that’s Jacob Ramsay (or maybe Murphy).

I think if all 3 United forwards get double figures (40 ish between them) goals that would be pretty solid.

It’s a solid looking forward line, but it’s not Messi, Suarez, Neymar.

Hopefully at least 2 of them succeed, with good contributions from Mount, Bruno, Amad and (maybe) Hojlund and Zirkzee.

Yeah, they sold Ramsey because they still aren't safe from the FFP stuff. They're in the Europa League and UEFA rules are even tighter than the PSR rules here, apparently.

Villa wouldn't make it if they didn't sell.

Could be, or maybe Isak goes to PSG and Ramos comes here? 🤔

I do think he probably goes to Liverpool now, though. :(
Possible yeah but facing PSG even without Isak is a tough match up. Now imagine Isak, Kvara and Dembele up front, Barcola and Doue as subs. Vitinha, Ruiz and Neves feeding them. As optimistic i am about Real with Xabi, that does scare me.

Would have taken their random African Cdm with the African name of the year, tbh.

Amadou Onana.

Think Villa already paid Everton 50m for him couple years back, so probably not an option.

Craig Hope is reporting it so there must be something in it even though I thought Ramos said he was staying earlier in the window.

Isak would cook in that PSG team. 🇸🇪 🐀

As it stands will be interesting to see how he rotates the CM two. Sauce it up with Bruno/Mainoo vs likes of Sunderland, then more pragmatic with Casemiro/Ugarte against the tougher teams with one of Mbuemo and Cunha sacrificed? You think Mount can fill in there?
Nope. I’ve got little faith that Mason Mount can make a big impact anywhere on the field for United.

Yeah, he's a decent player. Wouldn't have minded him at the Toon but our DM position seems to be set now.

Yeah, we signed Ramsey bud. They do look a bit like each other but Ramsey is an 8 and Rogers is a 10
I got them mixed up too 😂 Rogers is great. Not seen much of Ramsey but read his injury record isn’t the best?

Like a new signing, imo.

Yeah, it’s basically anything we get out of him is a bonus at this point.

Surprised he wasn’t on the chopping block this year.

Hope he has a solid year and Sell him to West Ham for 25m next summer.
