Basically happened with Ronaldo at United after we won the CL.

Said he wanted to leave for Real. Ronaldo whined. SAF told him to give him one more season of his best then he’d let him go. Everyone agreed, even to the point the fee was agreed with Real.

United won the league and got to another CL final.

Isak isn’t Ronaldo and Newcastle aren’t 2008 United, but that’s basically how these things should be handled.

Think Newcastle probably had a big reality check this season. Like their fans seemed shocked Mbeumo and Sesko would chose United over them. Couple of years of progress doesn’t trump decades of success.

Really massive season for them. 3 months ago you’d say definite top 4 challengers and 2-3 good signings away from being potential title challengers.

Now fuck knows. Could seem fall back into the mid table. They still have a decent team but negativity can be infectious.

He could have had the move by now if he acted professionally and went about it the right way. He's brought this on himself by the way he has acted and the club has tried to replace him to get him his move.

I think they will sell him but Liverpool are going to have to pay what they want, and if they don't, they will wait until next summer.

Heard he’s been banished from training, uninvited to a club picnic/barbecue and you’re saying he’s going to be banished to the reserves?

Seems to me if there is a chance you keep him, you should still use him.

It’s definitely a move Isak needed to make at the end of May not the end of July and he and his advisers have fucked over the club but also themselves, largely.

If you’re not going to accept less than 150m it could be a long season. Seems like Newcastle should drag it out until August 29th then let him go, just to fuck him over a bit.
