Old man Fedor sparring very hard for a 50 year old man. It seems like he has a fight booked and he's getting ready by simulating some real aggression.

Every fighter has a “prime/peak” and Fedor’s was well before he fought Werdum. It was crazy how much faster and more explosive he was than every other HW. His power was next level too, which was weird considering how small he was for an HW! Even as a shell of himself, he still had crazy power and speed. He probably is still pretty fast compared to most HWs at 50!

He always was able to take a shot and recover quickly and when he lost the ability to do that he finally declined. Little shots out him to sleep now and it happens to all fighters if they fight long enough. When that happens, it’s your body telling you it’s enough. I hope he doesn’t fight again for his own well being. That being said he is Fedor and could still KO anyone on the planet he connects with. That being said he would probably also be KO’d by a lot of MW fighters that wouldn’t have been able to even make him wince in his prime!

Hopefully not.

Crazy and depressing to think more of his career (in a time sense, not amount of fights) happened after the Werdum loss than before it. We really didnt need to see him getting steamrolled by dudes like Bader and Meathead.

Fedor had over 50 fights and like 6 losses and made millions of dollars in Bellator. It sucked seeing those losses but people act like he took 15 losses BY KO or something.

He was way past his prime and still went 9-5 in his last 14 fights after losing to Werdum and made over a million dollars in each one of those fights which is good for him and his family especially during such uncertain times.

I say if the Arabs are willing to pay him big money for some kind of celebrity boxing match then why not take it? Sooner or later he will really be too old to do something like this so why not cash out one last time?

Still the GOAT and still an amazing career and significantly less losses than other legends from the same generation. Most guys from Fedors time have like 15 losses. Let the GOAT cook.

Nope. Being in or out of his prime had nothing to do with losing to Werdum. The mistake he made in that fight would have ended up the same result five or seven years earlier, a submission loss. Great win for Werdum!

Didn’t say Werdum didn’t have a chance versus prime Fedor, just that Fedor was past his prime well before that fight. Personally I think the version of Fedor that fought Nog & Cro Cop mops the floor with Werdum, but Werdum’s guard was legendary so he def always has a chance to lock in a sub.

So not really sure wtf you are “Nope”ing about lol.

Hes just being humble, in the position were he caught Fedor with that Triangle armbar, noone is getting out of that.

I hope the MMA goat stays retired. I don't want to see him like we saw Mike Tyson.

I love Fedor more than 2 sherdog forums combined, but I want him to stay retired.

He can take FEDORTEAM to glory and relax in the opulence of his Fedormansion

Yes, please come back, I enjoy a good old Fedor trashing, Im shameless about it. He probably needs the money. There absolutely no proof that Bellator paid him MILLIONS of dollars, Lol. His shorts didnt have even have sponsors on it.
