Sesko has been a favourite to join Man U with the bookies for ages. We're just causing ourselves pain at this point; we were never signing him  We've been used again to get a bigger signing on fee and wages.

The entire summer has been a farce, chasing people that have no intention of joining and offering people who want 250K a week 150K. What did they think was going to happen?

Whoever is doing the negotiations at Newcastle is a clown 🤡. Had enuff me 😡😡😡

Kinda like where spurs were 6-7 years. Seemed pretty set as a top 6 club, but stil needed to really push if they wanted to really start challenging for titles and regular CL runs.

Spurs refused to go big and kinda stagnated. Seems Newcastle has been handcuffed by the dumb financial rules, but they've also seemingly been extremely poor getting deals done. Think most of us expected them to go really big this summer, but they could end up going backwards.

I wonder if the Saudis have lost interest a bit. They seemto be far more invested in other things right now.

It's a shit show behind the scenes, apparently. Eales is the CEO but has some rare form of blood cancer and is supposed to be stepping down soon; then Mitchell just walked off right as they were about to start going after players and nobody expected it.

No CEO or sporting director at the club and they have let Howe have far too much control over this summer. His nephew is supposed to be the one who has been negotiating deals and he's been getting battered by agents and other clubs this summer.

Saudis aren't allowed to run the club day-to-day; that was part of the takeover deal. I don't think they knew (PIF and the Rebens) how bad things were behind the scenes and put too much trust in Howe after Mitchell walked. The Reubens have now taken over negotiations and it sounds like a few people are going to lose their jobs. It's a mess.

Pretty odd that Dan Ashworth and Paul Mitchell have, in the space of about 2 years, gone from "the man with the midas touch" to failures.

Kinda shows how much luck plays a part in recruitment.

Brighton haven't missed a beat since Ashworth left and he did nothing here.

Mitchell sounded like a disaster and people have blamed him for the Isak situation; he supposedly pulled a new contract last summer that he was willing to sign

Fucking hell, it's happening then. Madness! Still unsure about the lad to be honest but I am somewhat excited by it at the same time.

Now fuck off Garnacho, Antony and Hojlund maybe and get in a midfielder.

Elite Firm might be finished this upcoming season

No worries mate. WE don't rely on just one team... we even expanded and got a spanish La Liga chapter too for a couple of months now. And let's not forget Gunnersaurus is a member aswell 😸

NUFC bid was even a couple of millions higher than ManU so Leipzig would have favoured that as I understand from the reports here. ManU still having a good name internationally and paying good - I can't blame any player going there. Usually some decent options to fuck off after a few seasons if it ain't working out. Could be worse.

 <lol> @Arqueto

Wirtz, Isak and Etikite for Jota (RIP), Nunez and Diaz seems like a massive upgrade for a team who just won the league by 10 points.

Actually read Salah in the second half of last season wasn’t anywhere near as productive as the first half of the season, so let’s hope his legs are going.

Actually also heard his asthma is a lot worse than first thought too, so they’ll quadruple his (definitely not EPO) medication this year.

Heard he has a “gentleman’s agreement” release clause for elite clubs, which still includes United but not Newcastle.

Obviously not viable anymore, but kinda would take him at United as an ultimate punt.

I know he won a treble and all, probably made a fortune, but that City move killed his career in some ways. Not a Pep player at all.

I suspect if he was 30 years younger, he’s the type Fergie would love as a luxury player.
