Nemanja fucking Matic plays for Lyon. That gives me some hope because he had the turning speed of a lorry when he was at OT years ago, he must be like an iceberg in midfield in 2025. Fingers crossed anyway, I'd play Bruno and Ugarte for energy/legs in there.

Not a bad team on paper and they been doing better again this season. Still miles away from free-kick GOAT Juninho times. Pretty even match-up imo

Yeah, he seemed finished 5 years ago.

Everyone seems high on that Cherki lad, but caveat it with a “but……”.

Guessing he’s one of those old school mercurial head cases……not many of them left in the game.


More scared of Bilbao, Frankfurt and Lazio than Lyon, but it actually feels like a really open competition at this stage.
