This guy constantly seems to be on the fucking move somewhere.

He was supposed to be here for a few years at least. Something has happened behind the scenes. There was a big meeting right after the Everton game with the owners and they have obviously got rid of him.

The only thing I have seen so far is we're getting a new CEO and they want to bring in their own sporting director. Maybe the new CEO has beef with Mitchell. Fook knows. Weird timing this.

Y'know, all things considered, this year was a good year for football in the North East.

@BroRogan I saw a Wohnmobil with BW plates today. It was rented from joerental.de. Stuttgart (biggest city in BW) to Whitby is only about 15 hours (without stops). As I think I have mentioned when I used to live on the north coast of Scotland (the western, further part), which is another nine hours away, there were so many Deutsche Wohnmobile they had (unofficial) signs in German. If I go and walk around the town centre I will be sure to encounter Germans before long.

Languages I could hear every day:

French
German
North American English
Spanish
(non-European ones)

Common but not every day:

Australian/New Zealand English (to some extent they have the opposite high season)
Russian
Scandinavian
Unknown Western Slavic languages (Polish etc.)
(non-European ones)

The average vehicle seems to cost about €100 - 120 per day. Which is a lot cheaper than renting a flat here even in low season, never mind at this time of year.

7 days rental @ £100 = £700
Overseas Surplus = £300?
Diesel = 1,600 miles @ 33mpg = £285
Channel Tunnel / Ferries = £200

£1,485, without Continental road tolls (idk how much they cost) just to get here and back over a week.

Leute haben Geld!

The motorhome vanlife people have been pissing locals off around the world though, they're cracking down on it more and more. They're already banned from the most popular places here and often elsewhere. This one was out on the edge of town.

No Rodrygo is a pretty big shocker. No 18-year-old Endrick but yes 17-year-old Estevao is an even bigger shock.

Bum ass Arlison getting called up is LOL

There's speculation about him going to the MLS and re-starting a Messi rivalry.

The romantic move back to his boyhood club isn't even in talks

{<huh!}>

@Deffid @BroRogan
Is Weigl from Gladbach any good or at least reliable? He is one of the "maybe's" being thrown around at Elland Road lately

He played under Farke at Mönchengladbach I think?! Coach staying now? Would be a bit weird to me otherwise.

Weigl. Was highly rated as a central midfielder when he played for Dortmund. Bit of a weird player to me. Never made 100% of his talent imo but never came over as lazy or being a plonker. Just mostly "solid" and only sometimes "outstanding" which he definitely has in his feet.

Yeah, seems like he's staying for now. Or we'll see? Meanwhile we're being liked with a couple germans. Bayerns reserve keeper also got mentioned, I forgot what he was called.
