Newcastle has some of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The Botanist is incredible and the Fat Hippo was some of the best gourmet burgers i've ever had

The Botanist is incredible

......apart from the fact they serve the cocktails in plant pots and serve the food in a horse's trough etc.
