Christian Eriksen is Barça's 'plan B' if Antoine Griezmann move fails
Barcelona are reportedly looking at Christian Eriksen as a potential plan B, should the Antoine Griezmann deal fail to materialise.
The Blaugrana are in the market for another attacking player during this window, and have their sights firmly set on signing the France international.
However with Atlético Madrid playing hard-ball over his fee, Catalan daily Sport has insisted that the Danish playmaker is also being considered by Ernesto Valverde’s men.
They insist that Eriksen has been on the Spanish side’s radar for some time, and the player himself is keen on a move to Nou Camp.
Prising the 26-year-old away from north London may be easier said than done however, with Spurs unlikely to sell for anything less than €175m.
Any potential deal will have to wait until after the World Cup though, with Eriksen a key member of Denmark’s squad this summer.
