Barely watch the PREM these days so can't really comment on a player from the Ukrainian leagues. All these "pundits" with an opinion on him are almost certainly basing it on a 5 minute youtube video, I'm sure.

Ever notice how when ever we get linked with a player, everyone has been watching him for 2-3 seasons, already.

25 is a good age, though you have to wonder if he is so good why has he be playing in Ukraine for so long......though Fenandinho did the same and he's been decent for City.

South Americans have a long history of bombing at United.

Type of signing that can go either way.

That Savic kid at Lazio seems more like a United signing, but when you hear figures of 80m+ you know the world has gone mad.

See, I'm not in either camp. United don't need anymore 29 year old additions, but youth like TFM and McTominnay aren't the answers as many fans are crazy enough to believe.

Thing is, it should be a continual evolution. Today's youth should be tomorrow's experience. Problem is we've been so poor in the transfer market and producing youth in the last 5-10 years we're almost forced to buy experience.

If you look at the players we have in that, say, 26-32 year old age group who should be leaders and players in their prime years, very few are actually what blokey would call "last 4 in the CL, class".....see messrs Smalling, Valencia, Jones, Young, Blind, Darmian, Rojo, Mata, Herrera, Fellaini. Only guy we got really is de Gea.

This means the younger players like Rash, Martial, Pogba, Lukaku etc have had far too much pressure put upon them to make up for the squad's shortcomings.
