More worried about Garnacho, in that respect. Really need an alternative to Hojlund up front, too.

Those two look like what they are, youngsters with potential. Mainoo, already looks like he’s a vet, even though he’s 18.

In terms of chances of making big, I’d go Mainoo>Hojlund >Garnacho, but we’ve not had 3 such prospects at the same time for 30 years.

It's always funny when you lot overhype a player and the media jumps on it and backs you up. If you had Miley in your team, you lot would be calling him the second coming of Jesus.

We've seen him perform in the Champions League against top midfielders and even outperform Mainoo head to head, and we're not gassing him up as much as you guys are with Mainoo. He's standing out in your midfield because you don't have any ball carriers in it and that's what he is decent at.

Miley is over a year younger than him, has outperformed him, and isn't getting anywhere near the hype that Mainoo is. Mainoo would be nowhere near the England set-up if he wasn't at Man U.

Miley is actually in the top ten percentile for three of the main categories; he is close to the top ten in one more category and that is up against all midfielders. Mainoo is in the top ten percentile for one category and nowhere near in his next best category.

There is every chance he ends up another Rashford, on huge money, and never lives up to the hype.

Seen a few mainoo highlight videos

He genuinely looks really good; was the best midfielder against Liverpool.

Not seen anything near as good from the Newcastle lad (sorry Arq, I hate Man U 😂)

He does, he looks decent but as usual, he will get overhyped because of where he is. Him making the England squad is <45><45><45>

But saying that, Southgate is still picking Henderson which is another joke.

It is true that playing for a big team definitely helps your international prospects, though.

Nicky Butt was an England regular until he was sold to Newcastle, then never made the squad again.

I’ll tell you what though. The old how do you get Gerrard and Lampard to play together was the wrong question. It should have been which one starts alongside Carrick.

England’s loss was United’s gain in that one.
