@EOW
Broncs just had the biggest comeback win against the chargers since our legendary comeback Oalso against the chargers in 2012-13).

Fucking needed that one bad. Great game.

Also gave us this absolutely fucking F A T A L I T Y

No doubt Cardiff will channel this energy to bounce back after dropping 5

This is how United's season is going to go, now. Bet on it.

- We'll win midweek handsomely against the Turkish team because they're shit and we're a cup side. No pressure means Ole will churn out another big CL win.
- We'll then drop points in the league again.
- This pattern will continue for the remaining 3 CL group games and the board will somehow think this means we have a chance of actually winning the CL. Which, obviously, we don't.
- As a result they won't fire Ole until he's knocked out of the CL, so what will happen is we'll get to the quarter-finals or something and get knocked out and the board will look at the league table, in which we are 10th, and go "oh fuck.........we forgot about this".
- Ole will be sacked around Feb time, Carrick will take over until the end of the season and we'll finish around 8th.
- New manager comes in, they'll throw some money at him but won't fully back him and the cycle continues.

EDIT - Fuck me, we've got 1 point from 12 at home. One from twelve. That is fucking disgusting.

Poch in now??

Poch in now??

I'm no big fan of Poch, he's unproven, but he's 10 x the manager Solskjaer is and there's enough potential at this club for him to work with and improve visibly. I think he'd do well, here. If we brought him in now, we'd easily finish top 4 in my opinion whereas under OGS we'll be lucky to finish top 6. Lucky.

yeah I think you'll always have the problem as long as the Glazers are still around, however having a half decent manager in the interim can get you guys somewhat trying to get top 4

Like Arsenal, you guys have to accept no longer being a "big club" now.

Aside from Poch and Allegri, which top manager is realistically avaialble too?

We stopped acting like one in 2013 when we hired David Moyes to replace the best manager of all time. That was when we stopped being a big club and we've continued that trend for seven years. Shambolic football club.

I have no idea, I don't want Allegri - too defensive and boring.

I know someone who's available..

Nah, thanks!

I've been stewing over something since last night. CDM and the absolute negligence of not signing one this summer. When Matic had that run of form last season to get a new contract, it was clear how vital a top-class CDM is to a functioning team. It was clear that neither Fred nor McTominay are good enough to be that player, so signing 'the new Matic' should have been priority #2 this summer.

We weren't even linked to one. Ole has to play Fred and MCT together because neither is good enough to play alone, he needs both on the field which is detrimental to the balance of our midfield. Two average players making the contribution of one average CDM, it's incredible that Ole keeps repeating the same mistakes.

Agree.......2 weak and slow CBs + a weak and slow CDM, is perhaps our biggest issue. Like a ship without an anchor. Forces the rest of the team to play more defensive/negatively. Whack in Stam, Vidic and Keane, we'd win the Superbowl.

Then again playing 4-3-3 without any competent wingers or attacking full backs in the squad ain't great, neither.

I'm sure there would be improvement but this year has been so crazy I dunno if anybody can guarantee top 4. How do you think rafa would do with your club?

Fucking hell, no thanks! Another very negative, pragmatic manager who's past his best.
