Levy got Son to extend his contract. Very fortunate, timing wise, to secure such an excellent piece of business.

He's currently operating at an higher level than Bale was when he left for Real. In normal times you have to believe the blue bloods would have been sniffing around.

Will be interesting to see how Eriksen & Son's careers pans out now, considering how they chose to take opposite paths.

Messi/Ronaldo era coming to an end but all the heirs seem to be around 21. Not many in that 24-28 range ready to carry the torch right now.

Currently as last 3 game? Maybe. Last 12 months, that seems a tad bit of a stretch not withstanding how good Son has been. Bale was shit hot his last season or two at Spurs in a far worse team.

Son is a world class player, but would he do the same numbers if he played in the 2011/2012 spurs team, i don't think so

I guess its nice that they put this out trying to be upfront with the fanbase and explain their recent moves. I guess its a wait and see durian situation. Wish they would've released this proactive rather tha reactively to the fans outrage. Oh well
