Is the international break boring and a waste of time?

De Gea is back
Is Axel a future captain
Fred is world class
Ole outclassed Europe's best tactician
Axel pocketed Mbappe
Rashy is world class

From one group game and i've only been online 10mins
From the above, DeGea looked like his old self, though I do recall distribution issues. Overall, it’s encouraging, but he needs to go a few months without a massive blunder before he gets to be “back.”

Fred had a good game. World class is absurd.

Tuanzebe had a very good game as well. The future captain talk regarding Axel has been going on years before the PSG game from United fans, though. As I said in my previous post, I get a bit of a Phil Jones vibe from him with injuries—hope I’m wrong. Coincidentally, Jones was also called a future United and England captain.

Ole got things right yesterday. Anyone insinuating he’s a tactical genius needs his head examined.

Rashford is still a frustrating player. His decision making was terrible at times. One inexplicable pass to Martial when he looked to be clean through on Navas comes to mind. As with most games, he missed another 2-3 golden opportunities. He creates himself the opportunities of a world class player, but he doesn’t make the best of his chances. I’m very skeptical he corrects that for the long term.

PSG were the ideal dance partner for Utd's opening group game. Arrogance is their achilles heel.

That fans are getting so carried away with a W this early on in the calendar shows how far away from contention they are. Getting so gassed over a group game is a very English thing that we need to grow out of to ever consider ourselves a force, much less a dominant force in Europe.

Pereira was the best player on the pitch by a country mile. Utd's midfield is still an ungodly mess. They were my biggest takes from the game.

<Lmaoo>

A rare good performance and you can't even let us have that? Show us where Ron Atkinson touched you.......

You'll have plenty of opportunities to smugly mock us from the safety of being a casual Stags fan soon enough.....is it so hard to give an inch?

Was meant more as an indictment of english footy fans retarded mindset. I'll be as unflinchingly critical of Spurs and other top 6 clubs this season soon as everyones up to match fitness. Two decent years in the CL and everyones bertie big bollocks all a sudden.

Was a low quality early season match yet Rio's out there waffling on about Rashys world classness. Its fucking dumb.

Klopp giving a petty rebuttal to things Carra never said or thought.
Mou dropping a 3 goal lead in last 10mins
City cant keep anyone fit
Barca signing Everton's sacked Manager
Real 2 down against Rona FC

This season is shaping up to become one helluva wild ride.

Ngl, was gonna say earlier if Real dont spank Rona FC 6-0 today their fans would be rightly miffed.

3 down in 1st half. Yeesh!

Every transfer ITK navigating the tricky high-wire rope predicament of choosing which currently underachieving Big Club is in talks for Pochettino

Honestly, I've heard most say, outside of his goal Rashford was poor.....which I agree with.

It was a workman like performance, imo. Quite pragmatic all round. I'm still assuming Rashford, Martial, Pogba and (to a lesser extent) Bruno will all significantly up their games when they have a bit more gas in the tank.

We've got Chelsea, Leipzig, Arsenal and Everton in the next 2 weeks so we'll have a decent idea where we are after that. It's about stringing it together for 10 games+, not a couple.

Assume it will settle down soon enough.....at the same time things could easily get worse.

See what happens when one of the big boys loses 8 players for 3 weeks, or clubs have to play 7 crucial games in 16 days come May.

It's PSG, cause he was captain.

Trust me, I know.

Prem Clubs cant even defend set-pieces. We're all pretty wank.

Seems like the standard of European footy as a whole is cratering, to me.
