Never had one yet but I do feel pressure on them sometimes so I'm gonna play it safe

backward sled drags. Slow n push through each step

Strong hamstrings can prevent ACL injuries.
 
guess I'll just try walking backwards more often through out the day
Treadmill can help with that. Slow n controlled strides, doesn't have to be a cardio workout.

If you have access to a spare tire and a rope, you can make a junkyard sled. Or staircase could pretend to be dragging something backwards, just walking up.

My mma gym has those human shaped heavy bags I could try backwards dragging those
