Economy Prediction: Musks will drag down the Tesla brand and hurt sales significantly in 2025

My work has multiple charging stations, including fast chargers and if I get one it will be my commute car.

Still a ways out from it but hoping prices drop more and more. Getting a decent pay bump in July and will likely try and bust out some OT to pay a good chunk for a new car (even if I get one used).
if they let you charge free...... that's like free gas, otherwise 33c kwh is a mild savings compared to gas.

I was noticing a few things here. BYD surprisingly sells more EVs and nobody cares or knows who the CEO of BYD is. Price and functionality are more important from the average consumers' point of view. Same thing with all other brands. Tesla is probably the only exception because Musk is particularly charismatic and much more famous than all these other guys.

She’s the only one I can find that made that high of a valuation. So do you have a source for where you saw that valuation then?
I perform my own technical analysis based on projections of their market share growth of vehicles, energy storage, autonomous robots and AI.

xAI getting rolled into Tesla is the wildcard. Probably won’t be.

I don’t see 2000 being difficult at all considering monetary inflation and their ability to gain market share in those areas over the next 5 years.

No one cares who the CEO BYD is because the US government doesn't allow them to be sold basically anywhere outside of China. We even got most of the EU to follow. American auto makers freaked out when they saw how competitive they are.

The CEO of BYD also isn't standing behind Xi Jinping like he owns him either and he doesn't own prominent social media company to use as his personal soap box.
