Predict the Best Fighter in each weight classes in 2030

HW: Fedor
LHW: Shogun - Would lose to Jones in 2011
MW: Android
WW: GSP
LW: BJ - Edgar robbery ruined him for good, in 2010.
FW: Aldo - Maybe, FW was so shallow back then and he beat Faber so arguably.
BW: Not sure, BW was even shallower
FLW: I never thought we'd ever see FLW in the UFC. I doubt Dana ever did either, just like WMMA.

If you look at the list, even if you made a prediction based off on that, you wouldn't have been far off, I feel like. So, make your predictions for the best of all time in each weight classes in 2030.

So Glover is going to fight when he's 50 years old, is that what you're saying? You specifically stated they said the same thing ten years ago, and you were wrong, because none of them were even close to joining the UFC at that point.

Smith is not champ material, Glover was getting dropped left and right until he managed to get a choke. This Santos was not the same Santos that fought Jon. He will never be the same.
Jan's fight vs Santos was competitive until the KO. Very very far from "owned" as you put it.
Jan slept Corey with ease, while closest thing to owned is Corey vs Teixeira.
Reyes would sleep Glover in the 1st.

Glover has been fighting for two decades and people said he is done after jones beat him 6-7 years ago and yet here is as the best active LHW.

He beat Santos very one sided via stoppage and beat smith so bad it was voted sherdogs beat down of the year!

And finally the mere fact you weren’t even around ten years ago and are saying people were not talking about so and so back then is ill informed. AA was written off and nearly went suicidal playing Russian roulette over a decade ago. He’s actually still fighting in the ufc. Reem has been written off and reborn about 40 times in the last twenty years. MMA has a very limited pipeline of new talent.

You can defend Jan all you want but he is a 37 fguy with 8-10 defeats who is now champion. Your love affair with Reyes aside, the heavier weights in UFC are predominantly old dinosaurs. hell Shogun rua until he tapped to strikes in his last fight was on a good run and a win or two away from contention lol

this is not about you this is about the modern mma talent being too slow to come in and old dinosaurs regularly staying relevant for years and decades In some cases.

Glover was not in the ufc 10 years ago, idk I might be subsconsciously typing in Chinese but I hope that is not the case. Glover has been written off several times but the thread name is "best fighter in each weight class in 2030" and you said Glover will still be fighting in a decade.

And as for the "weren't even around", that is only an assumption based on this account join date.

That’s not an assumption at all. It’s actually very true for if you were around back then you would know this was never a ufc only forum!

every day a strike force, ksw, K1, etc guy coming over to mop the floor with ufc fighters thread and discussion took place.

But this has nothing to do with the thread. Gus and Jan will be long gone by 2030 and someone that is probably in junior hs right now will take their place.

Yup. I don't know how well he has progressed since his injury, but it is far from too late to make a comeback if his body permits it. There are greats that didn't even get started until 24.
