If he's training at AKA, he's got 3 years and 6 orthopedic surgeries left before having to retire.Chase Saldate maybe. Has been training at AKA, top tier wrestler and getting the standup better at Mendez&friends.

God it’s stupid . It doesn’t make sense, but we will get a lot of posters who respond like it doesI hate stupid threads.
125 - someone we're not aware of in 2020So, oh boy the year 2020 is coming to an end. Merry Christmas to everyone btw. A year flies by, and even a decade feels like it blew by fast.
So, I mean it feels like 2030 feels so far away, it's crazy, but take a look at what I thought the best fighters in each weight classes were back in 2020, or/and what the majority would have said, and how much change there was.
HW: Fedor
LHW: Shogun - Would lose to Jones in 2011
MW: Android
WW: GSP
LW: BJ - Edgar robbery ruined him for good, in 2010.
FW: Aldo - Maybe, FW was so shallow back then and he beat Faber so arguably.
BW: Not sure, BW was even shallower
FLW: I never thought we'd ever see FLW in the UFC. I doubt Dana ever did either, just like WMMA.
If you look at the list, even if you made a prediction based off on that, you wouldn't have been far off, I feel like. So, make your predictions for the best of all time in each weight classes in 2030.
This young prospect will finally fulfill his potential, and be a two division champ and all time GOAT in 2030, at a seasoned age of 27. We just gotta have patience and witness MMA history unfold over the next ten years

Should I do women's weight classes as well?
Lol glovers been fighting for two decades already. And Jan is 37. Glover is on a huge streak and he finished both smith and Santos (who btw owned Jan) two guys even jones couldn’t finish in title fights. Lol @Reyes being the best
Hooper,Edmen,Arman and Barber will be well-known in 2030Well I mean.... it's going to be guys that are completely unknown to us right now.
Why failed and why mw? He never fought at 185They said the same thing ten years ago. Look at the HW division and LHW. Lol Glover is the best LHW on the planet and the champion is a 37 failed MW (Jan)
So Glover is going to fight when he's 50 years old, is that what you're saying? You specifically stated they said the same thing ten years ago, and you were wrong, because none of them were even close to joining the UFC at that point.
Smith is not champ material, Glover was getting dropped left and right until he managed to get a choke. This Santos was not the same Santos that fought Jon. He will never be the same.
Jan's fight vs Santos was competitive until the KO. Very very far from "owned" as you put it.
Jan slept Corey with ease, while closest thing to owned is Corey vs Teixeira.
Reyes would sleep Glover in the 1st.
Stay out of this with out facts and truths I am trying to troll hereWhy failed and why mw? He never fought at 185
Hahaha stop please.
Glover has been fighting for two decades and people said he is done after jones beat him 6-7 years ago and yet here is as the best active LHW.
He beat Santos very one sided via stoppage and beat smith so bad it was voted sherdogs beat down of the year!
Which planet do you live on where Glover wasn’t being written off?
And finally the mere fact you weren’t even around ten years ago and are saying people were not talking about so and so back then is ill informed. AA was written off and nearly went suicidal playing Russian roulette over a decade ago. He’s actually still fighting in the ufc. Reem has been written off and reborn about 40 times in the last twenty years. MMA has a very limited pipeline of new talent.
You can defend Jan all you want but he is a 37 former failed MW who is now champion. Your love affair with Reyes aside, the heavier weights in UFC are predominantly old dinosaurs. hell Shogun rua until he tapped to strikes in his last fight was on a good run and a win or two away from contention lol
this is not about you this is about the modern mma talent being too slow to come in and old dinosaurs regularly staying relevant for years and decades In some cases.
That’s not an assumption at all. It’s actually very true for if you were around back then you would know this was never a ufc only forum!Glover was not in the ufc 10 years ago, idk I might be subsconsciously typing in Chinese but I hope that is not the case. Glover has been written off several times but the thread name is "best fighter in each weight class in 2030" and you said Glover will still be fighting in a decade.
And as for the "weren't even around", that is only an assumption based on this account join date.

every day a strike force, ksw, K1, etc guy coming over to mop the floor with ufc fighters thread and discussion took place.
I'm going to play along, knowing I'll probably be wrong, because it is a damn difficult game.
HW: Cyril Gane. He is only 29, have yet to take any damage and 39 ain't an implausible peak for a heavyweight. Augusto Sakai is another option.
LHW: No obvious candidate, but Jimmy Crute is pretty good and still young, so I am going for that.
MW: Edmen Shabazyan - forget your recency-bias, dude is still only 23.
WW: I don't know if he should, or if he could, but if Sage Nothcutt gets back on the horse, he is still only 24 and has a wealth of experience. Too soon to rule him out (and it is a damn difficult game, so I'll give him a shot).
LW or WW: Khamzat will be 36 by then, which is getting up there for the division, but perfectly plausible, he'll be around. Fiziev might be around as well.
FW: Mads Burnell will be 36. If he reaches the top, young guns will be ready to take him down in 2030, but I'll put him on the list regardless.
BW: Petr Yan - he could be hanging in there as the wily old veteran at 36.
WFW: Maycee Barber - forget your recency-bias, she is still only 22.
Couldn't find obvious candidates in the remaining categories.
Yup. I don't know how well he has progressed since his injury, but it is far from too late to make a comeback if his body permits it. There are greats that didn't even get started until 24.sage is only 24????
Horrible thread but Connor will still be the GOAT by then too and the first three division champ with KO wins in four different divisions (he gonna go up and KO Izzy too)
