While we despise Quebec on the general, the one shining spot is the fucking poutine (and strippers). Those whiney sons of bitches do potato, cheese and gravy better than anybody on earth. I gotta go with my second class countrymen on this one.

I am going to shock many but as a pure-wool Québécois, poutine is massively overrated. It‘s the kind of shit we grab after hockey practice when we are tired and it‘s cold, or after we have been drinking all night and the only place still open is La Belle Province or to go grab a shish taouk at the Lebanese under the bridge behind the dumpster.

Not sure why there is this marketing push to make it some kind of delicacy. It‘s shit on shit with shit.

Carne asada easily. Poutine feels like a joke that Quebec plays on tourists. "Hey, let's come up with the worst food combo we can think of, tell people we love it here, and see if they'll actually eat it"
