I like the look of fairtex but I think the bgv1 is an okay glove the padding just didn't do it for me.

I won't even get into the bgv5...

Nah Sami black is boring so I agree with you. Which is why I try to limit my black gloves though they are the most practical

Lets remember I'm the guy who doesn't even like black gloves so you're not the weird one here.

Come to think of it, my only straight black gloves are my Twins super bag gloves and my Tokushu Plus, and that's because the price was unbeatable in black. I would have preferred them in white.

OMG! My brown gloves will be here Friday. That's way faster than most US companies. lol

Pictures not mine, just took them from google image search

Rash guard

Hayabusa & Fighters Only, both feel great, haven't yet used Fighters Only rash guard in training, just got it

Boxing Gloves

I have 3 pairs + 1 pair of bag gloves

But these 2 are the best ones. Both feel great and look nice IMO, Venum is a new one and became an instant favorite of mine, these feels godly for my hands

Steel Cup

This is my 3rd groin protection and the first one that doesn't feel gay. Feels good and safe!

Shin guards

Also got 2 x boxing helmet, knee pads etc. But haven't really used them too much yet. Overall, I have used too much money for my own good for these, but dammit they feel great.

why are so many shinguard straps made without the D-ring? Its nearly impossible to get a good tight fit without it. Lack of d-ring has rendered so many nice shinguards useless.

By D-ring, do you mean a hook and loop system, but with metal or plastic, as opposed to two separate straps?

I think its so they're competition ready

Perhaps some company might develop a shin guard that has the hook and loop with metal, but with another padded velcro strap to go over the metal part?
