Yeah you need someone to help you but they are quick lace it would take you roughly 30-35 seconds to get going, so you could do it quickly between the rest period

Good to know. I wish the heritage line wasn't so overpriced. I'd pick up a pair of those pros instead. I'm curious to see if they'll get reduced or go on sale at any point.

Probably not. Smash when I talk to JohnFCS he says the ringside sales on the american website will not be applicable to Canadian buyers even if they buy on FCS. So they may indeed go on sale on Ringside...but not for us Canadians.

Just my 2 cents, the imf is the EXACT same, you are only paying for higher quality leather and embossing. Same glove you are just paying for the looks and not the performance.

So when are you moving to the us again?

<.< Strato why do you torture me like this ;P

Canada isn't a bad place by any means...free healthcare, blablabla stuff like that. However when it comes to shopping online or for gear, this place is much less than ideal for sure. I see myself going to America after all this schooling stuff but who knows. Is the grass really greener on the other side? :S

^ this. Moreover drum dyed (lets call it DD to make it sound more pleasant) even isn't of a higher quality, it is just a bit more expensive and quite less practical (absorbs any liquid). In the end particularly Heritage DD is nothing to write home about (not the best example of DD).

Also really do not expect any reflection of the U.S. discounts in Canada. John (as any RS distributor) just has to pay wholesale prices to RS. Selling 10 oz. IMF for like 60-70 would almost get him in loss.

Yeah that is exactly what I said to smash.

Also like you said with the heritage DD, they'll will have so many sweat spot stains that they probably won't look good at all. I doubt the gloves age well.

Damn! Well, my father owns a house in Houston and splits his time so I could always just ship to his place.

Interesting info about the Heritage line. I just like the looks better. And I don't care for the look of the cuff on the regular pro IMF glove. If I can scoop them on sale at some point though, I will based on Strats' review.

The cuff on the pro IMF is VERY functional keeps the wrist very stable

I've heard that. In fact I recall when nomilkforsanta reviewed them, he himself (I believe) even asked Ringside why the heritage line lacks the segmented cuff of what was supposed to be the "inferior model" when in fact the segmented cuff is a very good feature that heritage would have benefitted from, regardless of how unconventional it looks.

Exactly the IMF pro cuff is one of the best designs ever. I need to look at the heritage, but I can't praise the pro IMF enough!

I wouldn't look into buying the heritage. The heritage is best left as glove porn for the eyes whereever you can look at them online, not for actually buying imo.

Yeah I wasn't planning on getting them I like dyed leather more than the unfinished raw look.

Same here. Besides black coloured gloves, you and I need to start finding more to disagree on lol. Just kidding

Cleared out some room.

Damn you guys!! I need to stay out of the gear forum. It always ends with me buying stuff.
