It could be a size issue on my part. I got a large even though I'm not a big guy, but between my ass, hips, and thighs, I'm pretty disproportioned (I'm sure you wanted to know that)

Excuse me for a moment

gonzaginator please upload your winning glove.....in next 2 weeks i will post my custom gold winning..
Have you gotten your customs yet? Would love to see some pics. I haven't gotten mine, hopefully I will next week.

Man those are beautiful, are winnings really the shit? I've heard so many good things about them, anyone ever use any punchtown products?
Winning gear is amazing. I have Winning, Grant and Reyes gear. The Winning gloves are easily the best gloves out there. Same with the headgear and groin guard. If you can afford Winning go for it. If you can't there are other decent alternatives but nobody really touches Winning to be honest. I mean even their hand wraps are so much better than anything else I've tried on so far. Winning just knows their stuff.

got my gym bag stolen. winning fg 2900, custom guard, 2 casanova gloves (1 was gold, and if people were wondering.. the special colors is a different glove not just color), reyes pro fight groin protector, my usa boxing passbook.... pretty much everything. had to start new. im looking at it in the bright side... atleast i can buy new gear :)

fresh new start. first thing of course, is new gloves. ive literally used every glove you can think of (except grants) and the ones that are built for me are casanovas. they feel like they were made just for my hands. i like these gloves more than winnings, reyes or any other brand. until i actually use grants i can honestly say these are the gloves im gonna be using for the rest of my life. plus they're not so expensive. only 85 bucks if you can buy them in mexico without shipping.

bag gloves, sparring gloves, mitt gloves... you will never see me with anything besides casanovas. thats how much i love them.

next thing i bought was a groin protector. i bought the reyes groin protector but this time around i got the "groin/kidney" protector ones. literally identical to the profight ones but they're just alittle bit higher on the abs. about 2 1/2 inches. very flexible padding and leather. it doesnt restrict my movement at all but one thing i can say is that i notice these are on. the profight ones dont even feel like you got anything. might buy the profight ones for competitions later down the line.

How'd you not go on a shooting spree?

That really sucks Chino. I've been on the fence about the Casanovas for months. It's really hard for me to buy anything retail, and it sucks even more that the price went up about ten bucks at Grupo Hamd =(. Mind giving a quick and skinny on the Casanovas?

sure. very similar in to the reyes gloves but casanovas have a more dense padding for wrist support. it has a wide hand pocket but its still tight. the gloves keep your hand almost in a tight fist position at all times. kinda hard to open your hands up but i hardly do anyways. if you train with a knuckle guard these gloves are perfect. in fact i dont think you can use these without one. cause there is a space in between your knuckle and the padding on the fist. the leather on the regular casanovas are different than the special colors one. the leather holds up very well and the color doesnt crack at all on the regular casanovas. the special colored one on the other hand does. the special color one is a entirely different glove all together. i'll get into that later

padding is evenly distrubted thru out the glove and unlike the reyes glove which has a round punching surface, the casanovas are more flat. which is the main selling point for me. its very hard to roll your fist with these gloves. and the impact is right on the knuckles... not the fingers. STRONG wrist support and flat punching surface makes it so its hard to hurt your hands. the reyes on the other hand feels like you're punching with your fingers and not your knuckle. the reyes gloves literally fucked up my hands, i thought they would eventually break in but its not worth jacking my hands up.

all in all the glove is top notch. makes me wonder why its so damn cheap compared to the reyes. they both got top notch leather, same feel inside the glove. reyes you dont need a knuckle guard but the punching surface is awkward (for me atleast). and these gloves will hold up. for a long time.

better/stronger wrist support than any gloves i ever tried. very strong lining also. i cant imagine the inside ever ripping. no thumb attachment also so you can make a very tight fist. alot of american glove companys have tons of padding on the knuckles, which kinda makes the glove feel more heavy. these gloves are 16's but feel lighter because the dense padding is in the wrist and in the hand its evenly distributed. you get what im saying?

now the special color gloves are a entirely different glove. it has a wide hand pocket but its more loose. the back of the hand is more round and the regular ones is flat. the thumb is constructed differently than the normal ones. different leather and the color cracks and starts to chip off eventually. same thing with the regular casanovas a thick knuckle guard is required because of the space between your knuckle and the padding. great gloves also, just the leather and color isnt up to par compared to the regular ones.

if you like mexican style gloves, use a knuckle guard, like strong wrist support and a flat punching surface. these gloves are for you. the padding is not as thick on the knuckles as other gloves. but if you wrap your hands good and have a good knuckle guard (gauze or winning pad is what i use) it makes the punching surface very cushiony.

i give these gloves 10/10 cause they're built so damn perfect for my hands and the price isnt expensive. you cant beat 85 for a glove of this caliber.

i havent used it yet in sparring but i like the feel of the pro fight reyes cup more. just the fact that i dont even notice its on is a big thing to me.

im sure some people like the padding alittle higher to protect the hips but.... i started off training muay thai first... so taking a punch to the hip doesnt really do nothing to me!!!

im sure as time goes on and i use this higher cup more i'll get used to it. man i love mexican fight gear.. only thing non mexican i use are shoes and headgear. gotta have the winnings... i wont put anything else on my head for training.

Just got it in the mail. Haven't had a chance to try it out at a workout or anything yet but it fits great. Was surprised when I got it that it wasn't like rockhard plastic but was kinda flexible.

LOL. I think even I would have kicked in doors and I'm a mellow guy.
