They drive a car with blacked out windows a fairly short distance using the GPS display inside to navigate.

...and while the river thing is definitely no easy (and maybe no realistic) feat, one does need only stay on the water and a river will take you toward your destination. If you got snagged on the shore, you could feel the flow of the water with your hand to reorient yourself. I was willing to work with it.
 
Its just doesn't make sense in anyways .

The movie sets itself up super seriously with that harse talk to those two children, then just becomes completely ridiculous in a moment when they get in a row boat blind folded .. Its just completely unbelievable on every level and collapses in on itself within a minute .. I cant watch serious stupidity

I was hoping it was parking camera or something, but sat nav ! Omg i think i will just watch power rangers instead, its far more realistic.

The film actually does explain why a parking camera wouldn't work. I'm not telling you to watch the movie. I think it was decent, not spectacular. If you literally bailed five minutes in, then I'd say that's a bit early to pull the plug. But the movie's probably not so good that it will make you do a complete 180.

I actually thought the beginning was good past the part where they're in the boat. You have a point that it's absurd that people are travelling and navigating blind-folded but if you can suspend disbelief it's a pretty good movie, imo, especially for a Netflix original.

Yeah, when reading about the movie online they lost me at blindfolded. I don't want to watch Sandra bumblefucking around for 2 hours.
 
I thought it was very solid. Reviews are lower than they should be. Critics hate Netflix movies.
 
I turned it off after 20 seconds. Close up of that old ass wrinkly face was enough to scare me away.
 
But I bet you watched all of bloodsport when van damme blindy kicks ass........

The movie was better than most coming out now. In the movie they show them training the kids blindfolded. Also the kids were raised like that from birth so it made sense she was taking to them like adults about serious items

I somewhat enjoyed it. Had potential. Felt 15min longer than it should've been. Ending was a bit anti-climatic. It def felt like a NetFlix movie by it's own standard...
