Yep.

Though I find myself more into older or remastered game as of late. Currently playing Black Mesa (HL1) And long standing franchise that have existed since my teens like Civ, Doom, etc...

I dont play as much post 30, but still played.
Ive noticed my gaming habits changed though.
Previously I could sit and play for hours, Id beat most games within 3-5 days easily.
Now I cant play for longer than an hour or two maybe.

I try to play but some games do not hold my attention like shit like fallout did

Once the post ps2 generation systems came out, I pretty much was done. I got the wii cause I liked Nintendo and it was diverting but after playing DK Country and a few others, I didn’t really continue.

Competitive multiplayer is just not my thing cause I’m not good enough in those games like COD and you’re up against people who will decimate you if you’re a notch below. I could camp out but it gets a bit dull after a while.

I think one of the things that I always found tough to master was the dual controls for moving vs. moving your perspective. In games like Perfect Dark and Goldeneye which I loved back in the day, you didn’t have to worry about such things.

it just seems like gaming among my friends is way different now. Those types of self contained games don’t seem to be nearly as popular. Competitive multiplayer seems to be where it’s really at.

Fuck Duck Hunt. Have you played Duck Season? It's Awesome.

Yeah that shit is cool but duckhunt combined with Mario in one cartridge is basically when video games started. If you want to piss off the qberrt crowd

Mostly I just fantasize about it. Hasnt come out many new games I'm interested in the last few years though.

Yes, but rarely now. I'm burned out on so many of the games I used to play religiously (shooters, sports, fighting). Pretty much stick to Action/Adventure/RPGs. I play maybe 1-3 games a year.

I play intermittently. Sometimes a game will come out and I'll play it at night when the fam is sleeping. I'll play for a month or two every 6-9 months or so. Back in the day I used to be pretty high ranked in the CS community, but I don't want to commit that much time to it anymore. I've got kids and a wife now, so video games are deep at the bottom on the hierarchy of want/needs.

Duck Hunt? Shit I remember Qbert and Pitfall. Rarely play video games now though.

Yes but I stopped from like 19 until I was almost 30. College & work & gym/basketball = no time. So I've caught up a little, recently. Red Dead, Farcry 5 and Madden.
Ha. Virtually identical gif.

I stopped at like 13 and started back up at 28ish. Wife and i arent fat, play video games together and sometimes do the sex.

Thats why I said duckhunt/Mario cartridge as the start of video games will piss off the qbert crowd lol

i havent turned on my console to game or properly use it in over 3 years.

i was reading there was a bot going round bricking ps4s so i turned it on to make sure it was alright and change a few settings that they advised to do. other then that, havent gamed in a while.

I start playing Dr. Mario and can't stop because of the intellectual puzzle challenge.

Lolo is also a brain challenge.

Haha yeah I didn’t see that you posted that until after I posted my comment. True though. I still have an Atari 2600, and games for it. I don’t have it hooked up, it’s just chilling on top of a closet shelf.

I voted no

They dont interest me like they used to.

I stopped for quite a few years. Now I realize they're better than tv or movies.
