Possible Sasquatch encounter happened last night.

Asking for proof is retarded, you don't seem to understand that. If there was proof (with regards to the mainstream scientific community), there'd be no conversation here to be had. We wouldn't even be having this discussion you clown.

You also don't seem to understand that boldly asserting that there's proof of UFOs, in contrast to the Bigfoot phenomena (and as some sort of knock on the evidence provided by its investigators), is equally as retarded. All one needs to do to have proof of UFOs is prove the existence of an aerial phenomena that can't be identified - which could be nothing more than a "flying" rock that nobody can prove is a rock.

The audacity of you talking about critical thinking while displaying such a lack of it is truly astounding lol. You keep claiming there's no evidence without even having a grasp on what constitutes evidence.

wheres the proof?

<JagsKiddingMe>

You have achieved neutron star level density. Impressive.
says the guy that believes in something with no proof.

now if you will excuse me, I have another thread about a flying spaghetti monster sighting I need to get to

Why do assholes clog up fun threads.

You don't even realize how stupid of a statement this is to make (from a scientific standpoint, no less), which more or less says it all.

Ontario hunter Gino Meekis recorded videos of strange, loud, echoing howls in the woods that have left biologists scratching their heads.

He’d never “heard anything like this before,” he told CTVNews.ca in a phone interview. “It was more bass-y than anything I’ve heard scream before.”

And if you’re looking for answers from the government, the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry’s guess is no better than anyone else’s.

“Our biologists say it could be a larger mammal – for example a wolf – but because of a considerable distance from the recorder there is no way to be certain,” ministry spokesperson Jolanta Kowalski wrote in an email to CTVNews.ca.

Obviously skeptical sherdoggers will have an answer for it.

Sounds like a hurt animal in its death throes. Still pretty scary. Would have been awesome if a rock came flying at the dude when he answered back, lol.

Creepy AF!

Possible black bear though? Check out the two growls at :35 that have more of a distinct pitch to them, kinda similar, though not nearly as long as the ones in your videos:

I thought is sounded like a wolf (to me at least)

Sounds exactly like:

If I read the article correctly they said they could hear it moving and that it was coming closer to them - so they skidaddled since they had kids with them.

That would be unnerving as hell especially close to evening or night.

Its definitely either interdimensional travellers or catapults. Probably the travellers.

It sounds like a rabbit caught in a snare and a dog barking from far off that heard it.

Still the best werewolf movie and howls ever

Most likely a squatch. Apparently these things can't make overhand throws and have to use an underhand toss to throw objects.

This made it into the news here in Canada yesterday:

Hunter records mysterious, echoing howl in the Northern Ontario woods

Pretty freaky stuff.

I live in Ontario and I sort of got lost in the woods in Southern Ontario last week in an area where there have been bigfoot sightings. Going too far into an area with thick swamps and beaver ponds everywhere is a bad idea, even with a compass. The swamps cut me off on my way out since I strayed too far off to the side instead of going straight in and the terrain was extremely uneven making it worse. Everything looked different on the way back out which was disorienting. Here's a pic I took:

swampy.png

Now you can see why the TS was falling all the time. Everything wants to snag and trip you.

It was getting dark too and I managed to get out of the forest but I was pretty far away from my car. Saw bear poop and all I had on me was a knife, bear spray and a cell phone. I doubt that would be enough for a pissed off Sasquatch. I brought a gun with me but left it in the car since I didn't think I was going to go that far into the forest. I just kept going further in and finding cool nature to look at lol. Lesson learned!

Always bring a gun when out in the woods.

Yeah, that terrain looks pretty close except that the waters edge is on a slope. That’s why I end up slipping and getting my feet wet. You can’t go further away from the shore due to the steep hill and thick undergrowth. That difficult terrain is one reason why I can’t fathom some rednecks climbing the hill and doing this. With that said, now I am paranoid and I am suspicious of two guys that fish there that I have been chatting with. They look like the type that could do something like throw rocks for kicks, but I have no proof. I guess I am just looking for some people to blame this on. Still doesn’t explain the size and force of the rocks and the perceived distance that I believe they were thrown from.

as I have said, the only thing I am sure of is that these rocks were THROWN. And the one I saw was big. Bigger than I could throw that far and hard. I guess from higher on the hill, it could have made it that far. But it still would have been quite the launch.

No, I truly read all of your post and understand the point you were TRYING to make.

Its just that no matter how much you type at me or how passionate you guys get, the only response needed is: "ok, show me the slightest bit of PROOF then...."

but, they never do. They just get even more worked up and yell HOW DARE YOU ASK FOR PROOF!????? MY UNCLE HEARD SOMETHING IN THE WOODS! A GUY ON SHERDOG HEARDS ROCKS FALL IN THE WATER!!! ROCKS!!! IN THE WATER! Rocks don't just fly through the air and fall in the water on their own!!

You guys actively ignore every bit of reasonable/critical thinking and ignore the complete and total lack of actual evidence or proof. No different than people that believe in ghosts.

I'm not even personally invested in this subject. I have no care one way or another if BF was real. I mean, it was back in the day. It did exist. So why would I care if it still did. It just doesn't any more according to every single bit of logic and data.

I don’t have any proof as to what threw the rocks, I just know that they were thrown. Based on the difficult terrain, the fact that I hadn’t heard anyone traipsing through the leaves above the complete quiet of the lake, and the size of the rocks, I simply had trouble accepting that some red neck had been waiting in that spot for two hours. I fished the area very slowly, so I was never further than fifty yards away from the spot where this happened, spending most of my time on a point not far from that area.

I don’t expect anyone to simply take me on my word for this. But it happened all the same.

Above the power lines, there is a point that comes out, that is about where this happened. The other pictures show the size of the hill-I just wish I would have taken pictures of the hill, but that would require going back. Oh, and ignore the pic of my headphones-they are not involved in this.

Some fish I caught this summer. The large mouth is from this lake. I missed a few much larger fish that day.
