Decades ago there was a furious debate going on about whether easy access to porn increases or decreases rape.
That debate is pretty much settled now as the numbers all point to reduced rapes once porn becomes easily accessible.

So my question is, what does this mean for society? The basic premise is that if we give people a little taste of what they desire, they won't feel as compelled to gain it by victimizing others.
Take that other thread about the chick being photographed while sunbathing. Would those dudes be following her home or doing other dangerous behaviors if they couldn't take photos to masturbate to later?
And what about pedos? Sexual assault on children is the most heinous crime imaginable and we'd do anything to reduce it, but surely we can't just allow pedos to have child porn. Even if you didn't allow the creation of new stuff so no more kids were exploited, and let them view only the existing stuff in a controlled environment with a therapist, that still just seems so wrong.
