Pork ribs or Beef ribs?

Both are good, however my all-time favorite ribs in general has to be Pipikaula Shortribs (beef) from Helena's in Hawaii. I also ate some A5 Wagyu beef shortribs when I was in Japan and I would say that was also amazing, especially texture and mouthfeel.

Beef makes better steak and burger patty, but ribs go to pork as far as flavor goes.

This ^ 100%

The best cuts of Beef are head and shoulders above pork , and that's likely what most of the people that
Voted beef are conflating. Beef ribs are tougher and not nearly as meaty, that's not to say they are bad just inferior to pork ribs .

Because most people, myself included, like beef more. Yet when talking about ribs, they assume beef are just naturally better. That's just my thoughts on it anyway.

If you asked people with more than a casual knowledge on the subject ,I think you'd find exactly this ^ to be true.

Beef, but only if the cows were fed pork leading up to the slaughter.

Beef. A pig is a dirty animal.

Unless of course we're talking about one motha' fucking charming pig.
Like Arnold from Green Acres?

Beef for me. Had some from Texas that were so delicious. I live in San Diego so not many good rib joints.

We need a new poll.

"What was the reason you voted beef?

1.- Im mentally challenged
2.- Im jewish/muslim and i hate myself.
3.- Im a hipster and i always give the contrarian vote.
4.- I like beef more (AKA im too mentally challenged to realize im retarded)."

The jack Daniels ribs at TGIFridays are top notch

I love the corn ad brownies from those things. Sometimes the brownie would have the corn in it too and that as still good. Sometimes I would grab a spoon andeat the brownie before even cooking it

lol They might be good but I have never had a positive experience at TGIFridays. I will have to find a good one.

I figured this could be the only reason. I've had bad ribs there too so I definitely understand the struggle but when they're on point I think they're the best.

I do my Pork ribs for 4 hours.
Two hours on smoke and then I take the ribs and put them in a aluminum tray and pour a little apple juice in the tray, cover the tray air tight with foil, turn up the heat to 300 degrees for approximately two hours. Enjoy!
They fall off the bone.

I make my own dry rub.

I always use apple pellets but not Traeger brand, they are crap.

Some say it takes eight hour for good ribs, fuck that, I want to eat now. Well in 4 hours anyways.

I went with pork, but that's not to say a good beef shortrib isn't fucking godly.
