It's actually standard industry procedure, the difference is almost all producers don't show it during the scene itself, and if they do as BTS footage, they edit it out enough to not be identifying. I see your point and it makes complete sense. I grew up racing motocross eventually to the pro level, which I'd imagine would be in the same realm as doing pageants in a sense, and there was no way my Pops didn't have tabs on where I was daily in to my early 20's....let alone just flying cross country for a few days without a good reason. But I know that's not everyone's case. I'm just very intrigued by that whole back story on them. Also their boyfriend's, my younger insecure self would have lost my shit, if all the sudden my broke college girlfriend was flying to San Diego for a "modeling" job out of no where after not ever doing any type of modeling. I know it happens, I just find it all interesting how it all went down.
