Leon is better than Kamaru. Outlanded him head, body and legs. Stuffed the takedowns and kept up with the pace. Even with a point deduction he still outpointed Kamaru. What a crushing defeat for Kamaru.

Suddenly Sherdog was infested with Leon Edwards “fans”. It was like they came from no where ( Or suddenly jumped on the bandwagon). It was a miracle. The fanbase that had eluded him from years had appeared from the ether ready to proclaim his greatest. I had never seen anything like it.

Now Leon attempts to defend his belt this weekend and thought popped into my head.

What happens WHEN he loses? Will his “fans” disappear as quickly as the magically arrived?

What I think is being discussed are people who just rooted for Usman to be toppled by somebody, the same way people wanted Woodley to lose and even Hughes back in the day with that done they will go back to wanting Colby or Khazmat or whoever they are actually a fan of win the title. So they were never really fans, the same way I only root for the gators or bammer when it can somehow benefit the Dawgs.
