If you haven't noticed, big businesses have been growing significantly in the market following the recent riots. When a big company (e.g., Target) has one of its stores destroyed, it can easily be replaced because big companies have a lot of financial backing and are well-insured. The people who suffer the most from it are the people who relied on that business for a job.
When small business owners have their businesses destroyed in riots, the damage is more significant since they do not have as much financial backing and may not be as well-insured. The physical destruction of a small business can result in the destruction of that corporate entity, which opens up room in the market for big businesses to grow.
Which class of people has been most injured by recent "race riots?"
