Rumored Poll: Are Americans more likely to root for foreign fighters than other nationalities are?

I don't care about nationality and race many of my fav fighters are black-americans. All depend of his fighting style and attitude
 
I'm an American, and the only reason I might be more likely, initially, to root for an American fighter (or Olympic athlete in any event) is that I am more likely to know their story. But once I know the story of the foreign fighter (or Olympic athlete), then nationality will make no difference to me in deciding who to root for in an American vs foreigner match.
 
American's don't care because we're the only country where the UFC doesn't give anyone from there the "hometown" treatment.
 
Americans like winners, doesn't matter where you're from. We also hate losers, doesn't matter where you're from.
Victory is absolute in any country, nobody likes losers.

look Khabib has fans all over the world Brazil, Russia, USA, Canada, Argentina, Sweden, Ireland.

if you're the best people will root for you, no matter your country of birth.
