I’m fine with cutting waste. Like I’ve said before, Trump’s tax cuts harm the middle class, only help the wealthy, and add trillions to the debt. Let’s cut that stupid idea.
Government shutdowns like the 2 shutdowns republicans had last time Trump was in office cost us billions. Stop doing that or cheering for that or not holding elected officials accountable for that.
Trump’s trade wars will cost us billions like they did last time, let’s maybe not do that.

It’s pretty hard to take Trump’s government waste spiel seriously when he’s far more wasteful than anything he’s targeting. This is about cutting whatever they think they can get away with to try and offset the massive deficits that his tax cuts for the rich will bring. And of course if he can hurt a lot of vulnerable people along the way, that’s an added bonus for him.
