Not quite true, it happens in Europe to but it doesn't look as pretty as in the video of that Korean (a guess based on other peoples reactions) politician.

One famous incident is of an English politician called John Prescott (I think thats his name, can't quite remember) punching a guy who egged him. Although Prescott should of been doing more work than eating pies, I think he was totally justified in punching that wanker.

Korean politicians are always getting slappy. Better yet is when the Buddhist monks start fighting each other in the streets. Thats some seriously funny shit.

And periodically, when a group wants to protest a law they don't like or something. They will all cut off a finger and mail it to their elected representatives.
