Movies Point Break vs Roadhouse

This is a really difficult question, which philosophers have debated since the ancient Greeks. Personally, I am on the fence, as I like both movies a lot. Swayze has a more prominent role in Road House, as he is the main role, and in Point Break, Keanu is the star, and Swayze is the co-star. I think people's answers will depend more on which actor they like more. I want to give an answer, but I just can't at the moment. They are both bitchin' films, though.

That stripper's fake titties looked kinda good. It was to distinguish between old mentor working at tittie bar vs. ordinary bar, and tittie bar featuring good looking strippers vs. shithole tittie bar. It makes a huge difference to character development.

Those tatas were not fake when she was in Roadhouse. Any connoisseur can see that. She had them done later in life. She is also the same gal that beat the shit out of Keanu in the bathroom scene in Point Break.

I like both movies a lot.

That being said, I like roadhouse more. It was one of the best martial arts films ever made.

I've probably rewatched roadhouse 50 times over the last 30 years. Point break I rewatches maybe 10

Road house is one of the greatest action movies of all time.
The level of violence and amazing quotes is epic.

I still to this day will use the line "I used to fuck guys like you in prison" when I flex on another man.

Roadhouse is a cult classic, point Break is not.

As far as their roles in pop culture, Roadhouse has been the inspiration for endless parodies, tattoos, and quotes. It aged well because of just how ridiculous and iconic it is. Everything about is nostalgic 1980's solid gold, especially if you're white and from a flyover state. It's a movie you can watch a hundred times and still laugh. It's a movie you can start watching half way through on a cable network, and you don't feel the need to stream it, so you can watch it from the beginning. It's action porn.

Point break is just a decent movie, but it's very forgettable. It's like comparing the movie Ronin to Scarface. By all means, Ronin is a higher quality movie than scar face, but it's not as iconic for all the same reasons. Like Point Break, Ronin is just a cool movie from the 90's that get's lost in the pile.
