Roundtree was beating him until he gassed
I almost threw $20 on Pena, Dom Cruz and whoever Cody no love lost to but I took a nap instead and slept too late. I had to drive 30 mins to the next state where betting was already legal (which I had done many times before) but I worked out instead. I would've turned $20 into like $1,800. I couldn't believe what I was watching on 2 different levels. If I ACTUALLY thought Pena would win I would've made it a point to drive thereI still think nunes threw that fight to hype her retirement fight lol
JDS/cain 1 was a fluke??
A guy with 11/13 wins by TKO gets another first round TKO when an inferior striker kick-boxes at mid to long range with him.
That’s no fluke my friend
JDS vs Cain 1 was a fluke.
This was a high level competitive fight between two elite fighters. Very possible Pereira wins a rematch, but there was nothing flukey about this fight. Ankalaev deserved the win.
Both are correctJDS/cain 1 was a fluke??

I was getting snacks.Nah. I must have been on a smoke break![]()
It’s the Sherdog way, favourite fighter is all current champs, subject to change once they lose the belt. Fickle place. War Chama forever.I mean, it's not as big a fluke as that the my favorite fighter lost their fight. My favorite fighter changes every week, btw
One of these things is not like the other (besides none of them being flukes, of course)Conor vs Aldo was a fluke, Andy vs Weidman was a fluke and Poatan vs Ank was definitely a fluke as well.
Him knocking out a guy in one punch isn't really a fluke because at the time he did it so often and he was good at it so it was better than just luck but I don't entirely disagree with you. It was an instance where a less talent fighter was able to win. Such is life at hw.Cain completely dominated JDS in the second fight (50-43 on one official scorecard) and presumably dominated him again in their third fight - but since he got the finish in Round 5, I wasn't able to find any round-by-round scoring for that one.
So yes, when you knock a guy out in a minute, then he comes back to completely obliterate you for 48 minutes straight, I think we can call that a fluke.
