Exactly that. Nunes gassed out and threw the fight in round 2. In the 2nd fight, she went full 5 rounds. In this case, Poatan ran for 5 rounds while Ankalaeva comprehensively out-struck him.

Amanda was not totally recovered from Covid. The fight was postponed because she had Covid. Plus she had an injured leg going into the fight.

It was of course the complete opposite in the rematch because she was healthy. People trying to say Amanda had no gas tank are full of shit.
