I didn't tell you this but I met Wanderlei and showed him I learned portuguese by listening to him and Shogun.

Just shy of his 14th birthday my son beat me in straight folk style. I was 168-170 and he was 145. I was incredibly proud and also like WTF man. WTF. Youth will not be denied. He couldn't beat me every time after that (that took another year) but I knew my time was short.

Thats cool. Fatherhood is so pure. Feels like there's a genuine happiness when you see your son do well or surpass you in some way, compared to other relationships.
