Both, this is Sherdog..."Too big for 185", "too small for 205". Which is it?
What does Jones going to heavyweight have anything to do with this discussion? Why did Jones spend time to bulk up? 205 Jones was too small to deal with heavyweights
Skinny legs didn't hurt Jon Jones too much.??? Skinny legs is a very big advantage. If I want to weigh a lot for my weight class (like 225-230 for weighing in at 205) I want explosive power and speed from my lower body, not tons of tissue to slow me down and have huge oxygen demand. Legs become an albatross when you aren't sprinting or have to fight for 25 minutes.
Jan is huge compared to PotanHes huge, but he might be undersized next to Jan but we must remember Jan probably walks around at 250 or 260, his size is similar to Brock Lesnar or Josh Barnett. Both guys are TRUE HW's fighting at LHW.
He is not large for lhwModern MMA fighters cut so much weight that basically the entire middleweight division could fight at LHW, including Poatan who is particularly large for middleweight.

Nah, he is a fit 230lbs. Indeed a huge LHW and legit sized HW, but not in the same range than Barnett let alone Lesnar.
Here is Tito and Brock. Tito has an inch on Jan and Tito fought at LHW, although Tito also was a gigantic LHW.

Bones is tall and lean but he does not have a massive frame and he is not thick. He has skinny legs. He will be out muscled.

Dude you prove nothing with that pic.
We live in 3 dimensions get a grip.
Adesanya is not a bigger man than Mark Hunt
Lesnar is a much larger, thicker man than Jan or Tito, who has made 199lbs.
Fight weight, he seems to jump back up to the 230lbs range after a few days.Where did you see that? Information is 211/212 >> Compilation of Fighters' Cage Weight (Redux) | Sherdog Forums | UFC, MMA & Boxing Discussion

I am not trying to criticize your point, I am just saying Tito is not THAT much bigger than Brock as you would imagine at least not the recent Brock. The difference between Adasanya and Hunt is way more than Tito and Brock and now this guy is huge:![]()
Seriously, I dont know what you pretend spamming pics. It's a pretty uneducated, even childish, way to approach the matter.
Jan is 220lbs in the cage. That's his ideal weight. And he is so while not being particularly slim. He is way more bulked up than he was years ago:
Period. It's what it is regardless of any eye test over any pic you can find in Google of him flexing or whatever.
220-230lbs is a legit but rather small sized HW, that's why he is a career-long LHW never missing weight.
