Yes, I was surprised. Normally the ESPN cards and ABC cards start earlier than the PPV/ESPN+ cards.The main event wasn't over til almost 11pm Pacific time. That means East Coast viewers it was almost 2 am. Most people were falling asleep even commentary was mentioning they were tired. The fights should have started an hour or 2 earlier to avoid this. Worst part is they cut into the Rizin broadcast which was an amazing show. Coleman and Jiri were at the opening ceremony in Japanese speedo banging drums. Missed almost whole thing because stupid UFC
I'm assuming since this is the first time I've seen an ESPN card on this late that they did it because they wanted the co main and main event to air after the hockey game which they had on national ABC.
Good point. I think they purposely started this event later than normal because they also had a game 7 hockey national broadcast going on.I was watching hockey i only watched the bo fight
