Please explain why you think Poirier is “fake”

Can someone who doesn’t trust Poirier and think he’s fake please explain why? I see your comments here all the time. Is it because he directs a nonprofit? Is it because Colby says it? Is it because he’s kind of soft spoken at times? I swear for the life of me I cannot see why anyone would think he’s fake. To me, Dustin has always been straight up through his career, and his run following the loss to Conor has been epic.

since when is sparring a bad thing? fighters in camp bring in people and work on stuff that how they do things. just cause dustin said anfd new is bad? it about a mental mendset.

And he didn't wait years for that, just a few months since last fight. The problem with Justin is he didn't allow Connor to get his way when it really matters, therefore he must be a sob...
The guy that left on the stretcher because he broke his leg before the fight and still kicked like a mule is not really the gold standart for anything but self embarassment...

Did you miss the part of my post that said “second fight”? There was not any trash talk by Conor leading up to the second fight. We all have our opinions and I’m not a fan of him. Or Conor. I think they are both fake. I want Charles or Justin to hold the belt.

I do agree that there is a difference, but Colby and Conor's extremely poor behaviour doesn't mean Dustin can't also come off as poor.

Like I already explained, Conor started talking shit after Dustin celebrated and then mocked Conor. If you don’t think that’s how it happened, then you’d have to show me

Shortly after the fight was waved off Dustin was shown walking over towards Conors Corner to check on him. A couple guys, who I'm assuming were either event staff, UFC employees or part of Conors team got in front of him and wouldn't allow him. I haven't been able to find that clip online yet and I watched the PPV at my inlaws so I can't try to go back and find it on there. I'd like to assume he was going over to give his condolences on his injury and possibly attempt to put some of the bad blood to rest or at least table it temporarily and end the night with at least some minor sense of mutual respect. That speculation doesn't sound completely impossible to me, considering both men have shown in the past they are more often than not gracious in victory and defeat once all the prefight promotion and hype is over and the dust has settled. They stopped Dustin from approaching him for some reason. I think its possible that Conor had already started talking shit at that point but maybe he hadn't.
I did find two separate videos that after comparing I believe show Conor said something first to provoke the Strut. The 1st video is the one of Dustin being announced the winner and then turn and proceed to go into the billi strut shortly after turning towards Conor. It is a split screen video of both fighters up until a couple seconds before Dustin starts the strut, it cuts Conors feed and just shows Porier. A split second before Conors feed cuts you can see him start to talk. The 2nd video is the one that was later released taken from outside the cage right behind Conor showing him making gestures with his hands and telling Dustin in your sleep you and the Mrs. and whatever else was said. If you watch the 1st video and listen to buffers voice he is in the middle of saying "Porier" when Dustin starts the strut. If you watch the 2nd video and also listen to Buffers voice you can see Conor starts saying something to Dustin and shakes his finger side to side at him. I had to watch them both a few times to get the timing of Buffers voice in relation to when Dustin began the strut. Whatever Conor begins saying to Porier clearly started before Dustin started the strut if you listen to Buffers voice in both videos saying "Porier" and use it as the measurement I think it is pretty conclusive in my opinion as to who was provoked first.
